In this episode, we’re leaning heavily into the beauty of the work-in-progress. With eight different pieces on the go -from "Fairytale" to a very exciting upcoming pattern for 'World Autism Day'- there’s plenty of stitching to chat about. I’m also sharing a peek at a new haul, some snowy weather updates, and the first mention of a secret project that’s been in the works silently for quite some time.
Thank you for brightening my morning with this video! As an Aussie still in Aus, your snowy world sounds dreamy!
1. I have signed up and so excited to hear updates!!!! Congrats to you both for getting this far, which I can only imagine has been a HUGE amount of work!
2. Loving your patterns!! I like to know what YOU used so I can copy if I like it or change it to better suit my style.
3. Omg, looking up your Firely pattern right now to see the full thing!! I have very little space so 5 WIPs is my absolute max - an easy travel/commute piece, a large pattern, a small-med pattern, an embroidery, and a SAL (currently saved for Museum After Midnight!).
4. Very excited about the animated show!! My partner and I, LOVE Firefly and it was our comfort show before we met. Others are Supernatural and Stargate 😊
Thanks so much for your comment! To answer (but it won’t let me do line breaks, so apologies for a wall of text): 1. It’s been a long slog so far! But it’s SO exciting to have it at a point where it’s usable! 2. I currently use WinStitch, InDesign and Acrobat to create my patterns. 3. Totally get the need to limit your WIP pile - lol! 4. SQUEE FIREFLY! I am so excited! I refuse to believe it has a chance of not happening. HAHA!
